NRH2O Family Water Park

North Richland Hills, Texas hosts a hidden gem in the middle of the Metroplex. NRH2O, is a water park that provides hours of entertainment with over twenty different attractions and slides, ranging from an elevated wave pool to two-story racing slides. The North Richland Hills Water Park is open for guests of all ages and boasts an impressive variety of water attractions.

Like many North Texas entertainment centers, NRH2O has some history to go with it. The park was built in 1995 and initially included three body slides, a river, and a wading pool. Today the Green Extreme is the most prominent feature of the 17-acre park, which features 23 attractions including the park’s largest attraction.

Another popular attraction in NRH2O is the Lazy River, which offers families a relaxing ride around the park’s main body of water. The Lazy River takes approximately thirty minutes to complete.

But don’t worry parents, North Richland Hills has something for you too! NRH2O’s wave pool gives guests a chance to relax on their own private island with two separate areas to lounge on. There are also designated swimming areas for adults and children.

NRH2O is also home to a wave pool. With North Richland Hills’ extremely hot summers, the wave pool is a refreshing relief to local parents and children. North Richland Hills Water Park hosts several festivals throughout the year and also hosts birthday parties for children.

If you don’t want to rough it on a single attraction, North Richland Hills provides guests with multiple dining options and even camping facilities (for those whose stay extends overnight!). All told, North Richland Hills manages to pack over 20 attractions into one aquatic park that covers 17 acres in North Texas.

A favorite among thrill-seekers, NRH2O’s Green Extreme water slide. Green Extreme is North Texas’s only mat slide that does not end in a plunge pool. It starts off with a 60-foot drop after which you go through five loops, three of which are in the dark. Green Extreme is North Texas’s longest continuous enclosed water slide at 2,500 feet long and North Texans’ favorite for its unique design.

NRH2O is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year and admission costs $30 for adults and $22 for children 12 and under per visit. North Richland Hills residents receive $3 off admission each visit. North Richland Hills residents can also purchase an annual pass for $49 while NRH2O season passes are available for $99. North Texas Teacher discounts are also available with proof of North Texas service.
